With many Canon EOS DSLR users finding themselves more and more interested in exploring the moving image as well as their still photography, more lenses have been designed for a better video shooting experience. One such lens is the Canon EF-S 18-135mm IS USM lens with its wide, versatile zoom range and smooth and silent stepping focus motor. To further equip this popular lens for videographers, Canon has introduced this product, the PZ-E1 power zoom adapter, which allows for electronic zoom. This electronic zoom can be customised via dedicated switches on the unit, offering different zoom modes and speeds. No matter the subject that you are filming, you will always be able to produce a suitable zoom setting for natural and complementary performance and a more professional final result.
