Zoom XYH-5 X/Y Microphone Capsule for Zoom H5 and H6 Field Recorders

The Zoom XYH-5 is a professional X/Y microphone capsule designed to expand the recording capabilities of your Zoom H5 or H6 field recorder. Featuring two matched unidirectional condenser microphones positioned at a 90-degree angle, this capsule delivers high-quality stereo recordings suitable for studio sessions, live performances, rehearsals, and broadcast work.

Built with a shockmount system to minimise handling noise, the XYH-5 can handle maximum sound pressures of 140dB, making it ideal for capturing everything from subtle acoustic performances to loud live events without distortion. The capsule integrates seamlessly with your H5 or H6, allowing you to capture up to four input channels simultaneously by utilising the recorder’s two external inputs alongside the built-in microphones. Each input features independent gain control and a -20dB pad for flexibility across different recording scenarios.
