The Sony GP-VPT2BT is a wireless Bluetooth shooting grip and convertible tabletop tripod designed for use with compatible Sony compact and mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras. It connects to the camera via Bluetooth v4.2 requiring no cables allowing full remote control of still and movie shooting directly from the grip’s built-in buttons, including a shutter release, movie record button, zoom rocker, and a customisable C1 button, all operable with one hand while holding the grip naturally.

The GP-VPT2BT features a flexible tilt head that adjusts up to 80 upward and 90 downward in grip mode, with 360 panning capability, making it easy to switch between forward-facing and selfie shooting angles without awkward repositioning. Its three integrated legs can be spread open to convert the unit into a stable tabletop tripod, supporting cameras and lenses up to 1.5 kg (53 oz). The cable-free Bluetooth design also allows connector covers on the camera body to remain closed, maintaining the dust and moisture resistance of the overall system.
