The SmallRig Basic Cage Kit for Canon EOS R6 Mark III (Advanced Edition) is a two-handed handheld rig for the R6 Mark III, designed to ease the load on your arms and keep footage steady. It pairs a cage with a top handle, a side handle and an HDMI and USB-C cable clamp.
The side grip has a silicone insert for a confident hold with both hands, and the comfortable top handle makes carrying the camera and getting low-angle shots easy. The cage locks on with a 1/4″-20 screw and two side locating blocks for anti-twist stability, with silicone pads protecting the body from scratches.
The SmallRig Basic Cage Kit for Canon EOS R6 Mark III (Advanced Edition) features HawkLock quick-release interfaces, including the H21 NATO rail and H38 Arca-Swiss plate, making mounting accessories fast and secure. There are also 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes, cold shoe mounts, a QD socket and hand strap holes on both sides for monitors, microphones, follow focus systems and lights. The thumbscrew cable clamp prevents signal dropouts.
NOTE: This cage is not compatible with the DJI RS 4 Mini gimbal. The Canon R6 Mark II is incompatible with the included cable clamp; the R6 Mark II requires the separately available cable clamp 2981B.
