This flexibility allows you to customise access based on your pack and shooting style.

Modular Stacking System

Core Units can be:

This modular approach allows you to increase or reduce protected camera space depending on the demands of the day.

Advanced Protective Construction

EVA Protective Shell & Dividers

Unlike standard PE foam used in many camera bags, Shimoda uses:

• High-density EVA laminated sidewalls

• EVA dividers

• Precision construction for thinner yet stronger walls

This provides superior protection while maximising usable interior space.

Multi-Purpose Removable Skin

The included lightweight Skin serves three functions:

1. Dust-proof storage case when gear is at home

2. Packing cell for clothing or travel items

3. Lightweight transport solution inside a carry-on or roller

Keeps your Core Unit protected even when not inside a backpack.

Built for Adventure Photography

Designed to handle mountain environments, travel and rugged terrain, the Small Mirrorless Core Unit ensures your gear remains protected without unnecessary weight.
