The Fujifilm (Fujinon) MK 50-135mm T2.9 is a lightweight, cine-style telephoto zoom lens designed for Sony E Mount cameras with Super 35mm or APS-C sensors. It delivers a constant T2.9 aperture across the entire zoom range, covering a 50135mm focal length with a 2.7x zoom ratio and a 28.5mm image circle that covers the 3-perf Super 35 format in 16:9. The lens features three fully independent manual control rings focus, iris, and zoom each equipped with industry-standard 0.8 MOD cine-pitch gears for seamless compatibility with follow focus systems, matte boxes, and other standard cinema accessories.

The focus ring offers approximately 200 of rotation for precise, smooth focus pulls, while the clickless 9-blade iris enables fluid, noise-free exposure changes ideal for run-and-gun and narrative filmmaking. The lens incorporates a macro mode for close-focusing capability and is parfocal, meaning it retains focus when zooming without requiring refocusing. Its colour rendering is matched to other Fujinon cine lens families including the HK, ZK, and XK series simplifying colour grading across multi-lens productions. With an 85mm front diameter and 82mm filter thread standardised across the MK series, it shares matte boxes and filter sets with the companion MK 18-55mm T2.9, making it an efficient and versatile choice for professional cinematographers and indie filmmakers alike.
