The 7Artisans 28mm f/1.4 is a fast wide-angle manual focus prime lens designed for Leica M-mount rangefinder cameras. It features an advanced optical formula of 11 elements in 9 groups, incorporating one double-sided aspherical element, two extra-low dispersion (ED) glass elements, and three high refractive rare earth glass elements to deliver excellent sharpness, clarity, and colour accuracy across the frame. A multi-layer coating is applied to each element to minimise flare and ghosting, ensuring strong contrast even in bright or backlit conditions.

With its notably fast f/1.4 maximum aperture, this lens excels in low-light environments and provides outstanding control over depth of field, allowing photographers to achieve beautifully separated subjects against smooth, creamy bokeh aided by a rounded 13-blade diaphragm. The lens covers a 75 angle of view, making it well-suited for street photography, environmental portraits, and architectural shots on full-frame Leica M-series cameras. Manual focus operation is smooth and precise, with a minimum focusing distance of 0.7m and a 52mm filter thread.
