Zoom F3 Recorder

The Zoom F3 is a compact 2-input, 2-track portable field recorder designed for videographers and sound recordists who need professional audio quality on the go. Weighing virtually nothing and fitting easily into a pocket or on a boompole, this ultra-portable powerhouse captures pristine 24-bit / 96kHz audio to separate tracks with dual ultralow-noise XLR mic preamps.

Recording and monitoring are effortless. The F3 features independent headphone outputs with level control for real-time monitoring, plus a built-in limiter and onboard compressor to keep your audio clean and controlled. Best of all, there is no gain adjustment needed — the innovative 32-bit float recording automatically avoids clipping, so you can focus on capturing the moment rather than fussing with levels.

Powered by either USB or two AA batteries (good for up to 8 hours), the F3 records to microSD cards and doubles as a USB audio interface. The intuitive 1-touch controls and waveform display make operation straightforward, while the hold switch prevents accidental operation in the field.
